We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team! The Business Intelligence Analyst will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager and will be responsible for providing data-driven insights and analysis to inform strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and proficiency in creating and maintaining PowerBI reports and dashboards.
Candidate will be based in Mysore or Coimbatore, India.
This position is a full-time, working on-site*, in person – position based out of our future Mysore or Coimbatore office.
*will work virtually for the first ~3 months as procure the office installations
NOTE: Only people who are currently living in Mysore or Coimbatore will be considered for this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with shared services and/or internal client management: Work closely with management to understand business goals and objectives, providing analytical support to drive strategic initiatives.
- Create, Maintain, and Optimize PowerBI Reports and Dashboards: Develop and refine reports and dashboards within PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and relevant business metrics.
- Analyze Financial and Operations Data and Market Trends: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial/operations data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify patterns and opportunities for growth.
- Develop Data Collection Systems: Design and implement efficient data collection processes and systems to ensure the integrity and quality of the data being analyzed.
- Prepare Detailed Reports and Presentations: Compile and synthesize analysis results into comprehensive reports and presentations for management and internal customer teams.
- Monitor Technology Landscape and Industry Trends: Keep a close eye on technology and industry developments to inform business strategies.
- Work with Cross-Functional Teams: Engage with various departments to gather requirements and ensure that BI initiatives align with organizational goals.
- Identify Areas for Process Improvement: Continuously assess current data management practices to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong proficiency in PowerBI, including the ability to create and maintain reports and dashboards.
- Self-directed and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with a high degree of professionalism
- Highly organized and analytical, with a keen attention to detail
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask effectively and take direction
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
